Endurance is not always something that is sought after In the gum.  Endurance for me was never a thing unless it was how many short power bursts I had in me.  If we were talking sprints, 225 bench reps, 315 squat reps etc etc... that was it.  Later in my career I need to go very long distances with heavy weight on my back... marathon distances.  Training my legs was key.  Nutrition was also a key.  Red blood cell count was important.  Beets were a super food for RBC which if you dont know is important for carrying oxygen to muscles in turn letting you go longer, harder, farther, more reps etc etc.  Liver, Beets, spinach, red meat, all excellent for iron and RBC.  Get your RBC count up and go baby!
